BTS skytrain extension to open Thursday, free rides through new stations for 4 months
If you live in Bangkok, chances are you’ve noticed the new “To Kheha” sign that’s replaced the usual “To Samrong.”
That’s right, it’s time to rejoice, Samut Prakan dwellers.
The long-awaited BTS Skytrain Green Line’s southern extension, which will stretch all the way to Samut Prakan, will open on Thursday, with commuters credited four months of free rides.
The extension includes nine stations, starting at Samrong to Kheha, which is a large residential as well as commercial area.
