Cape Panwa for us was a perfect start to our holiday. we wanted somewhere to unwind for a few days and this hotel certainly provided that. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and we had a great view of the sea. There was a great sofa style bed on the veranda which we used all the time when relaxing outside. The pools (one around the main hotel, the second in the gardens near the beach) made a nice change from the beach but the small beach provided somewhere to wander and stretch the legs.A tram is available to take you down to the beach front where there is both a beach bar and restaurant. The staff were most charming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
We only ate breakfast in the hotel as this was included in our rate. it was more than adequate and provided a variety of choices for everyones tastes from continental to thai to english. the hotel is located in an isolated spot which was great for us as this met all our needs but if the guest has mobility problems then this may cause a few problems as the area is hilly.
The hotel provides courtesy transport but this is like a truck rather than a bus,but it does provide you with transport to the little bay and plenty of laughs. there are several restaurants in the bay but we found sawasedee restaurant great value for money with plenty of both thai and western choices (this is the little bar exactly where the truck drops you off). we spent most of our late evenings around the lighthouse bar and made great use of the happy hour!and the live bands. overall we found this a lovely hotel and would certainly recommend this for future visitors.
