Nai Harn Beach
Nai Harn Beach located south of Kata Noi and north of Promthep Cape. Naiharn beach is not Phuket's longest beach, but it borders the most gorgeous lagoon on the island. The middle of the beach is dominated by the Samnak Song Nai Han monastery, which has obstructed excessive development and is the reason that the beach is generally less crowded than other spots on the southern part of the island. A wide variety of water sports can be enjoyed, but swimmers should be alert for the red flag which warns of dangerous currents during the monsoon season from May to October. One can walk to nearby Promthep Cape to observe sunsets, which are often fiery and spectacular

At its northern is Le Meridien Phuket Yacht Club which has a few bars and restaurants just before it, but generally the area is quiet. Behind the beach is a lagoon where there are some upmarket housing developments and a few good bars and restaurants.
Ao Sane is a small rocky beach that can only be reached by a small road that runs underneath the Phuket Yacht Club. There are a couple of bungalow operations here as well as a couple of restaurants.
Nai Harn's usually busier at weekends as it is popular with both Thais and expats. Many tourists who come to Phuket never make it to this wonderful stretch of sand. At the southern end the lagoon flows into the sea, creating a stream that children love to play in.
All year round the water is a comfortable 29ยฐC. Flat lake-like crystal-clear water invites you for a dip November to May. From June to October on occasion there can be days where larger waves attract surfers and prevent swimming however these days aren't very common.
Great for swimming from November to April, however care should be take in the low season (May-October) when there can be strong undertows on occasion. The local restaurants just above the beach make a great place to relax with a sundowner.

Another out-of-the way spot nearby is the tiny beach of Ao Sane, a great spot for snorkeling, reached by taking the dirt road that starts at Le Royal Meridien's car park.
A great place to have a snack and watch the sunset is Promthep Cape, a popular viewpoint only a few minutes drive from Nai Harn.
