NCPO is Tackling Tourist-Related Issues Head On

ข้อมูลby travisn » Thu Jun 26, 2014 4:53 pm

It is becoming increasing clear that the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), currently overseeing Thailand’s administration, is launching numerous measures aimed at improving the experience of travellers and tourists visiting Thailand, showing its commitment to welcoming visitors to the Kingdom in the process.

Only a few examples from what appears to be a pretty big list on their agenda:

First, they announced that the taxi queues at Suvarnabhumi Airport are to be computerized in an effort to cut down on illicit control of cab operations. Under the new computerized system, the passenger queues will be managed by a card system and drivers will have to accept the fairs that they are assigned whatever the distance. This is a major improvement on past management.
In rapid succession came the clearing out of more than 100 businesses operating along the beachfronts at Surin, Bang Tao, Laypang and Layan Beaches in Phuket, one of Thailand’s most popular beach resort destinations. Apparently, similar evictions will be rolled out at other beaches in Phuket including Nai Harn, Patong and Kamala. Another longstanding source of complaints tackled head on.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), as well as many residents, not to mention countless tourists, see these actions as the ruling leaders’ commitment to making the country as welcome and inviting as possible to all. The taxis at the airport in particular are the “front door” to the country, and should be representative of Thailand’s greatest resource, her welcoming, hospitable, and gracious people. We look forward to the leaders’ next actions in this regard.

Online, you can find a family or an individual who has been there and will plan an amazing vacation for you. There are few places in the world where you can't travel if you work with an online travel agency.
